Possums are part of life in St Lucia. The big trees along the river give them food and cover, and a roof space gives them a dry place to sleep. The trouble starts when one moves into your ceiling. You hear heavy thumps after dark, running across the plaster, hissing and sometimes fighting. Over time you may notice a smell, stains on the ceiling or droppings around the eaves.

The crew checks the roof cavity from the inside and walks the outside of the house to find every place a possum could be getting in. They then get the possum out of the roof space and seal the gaps so it cannot walk straight back in.
